You don’t have to be a mom to value your AM time. After your 20-minute social media scroll,  you’re left with 10 minutes to get dressed, do your hair and makeup, and grab your things before you are officially late to your next meeting (and officially a hot mess). But, there are a few things that can help this routine run a little more smoothly. I plan my outfit while I’m in the shower, I always keep a hat handy for bad hair days, and I rarely change up my makeup routine. In fact, my makeup routine is the one routine I am always trying to perfect, in the shortest amount of time. But where should I focus my efforts? What products are best? Step 1 Moisturizer

It hydrates and smooths out skin while doubling as primer. Embryolisse Hyrda-Mat is a great option, especially for summer.

Step 2 Foundation and Concealer

If your skin is clear, skip the foundation and show off your complexion! Don’t forget sun screen. Use concealer only where needed, like under the eyes, around nose or any redness, and on blemishes. This concealer by Amazing Cosmetics is very pigmented, so a little bit goes a long way and can be sheered out.

Step 3 Bronzer and Blush

Use a combo of the two or one or the other. Use bronzer on the high points of the face to mimic a natural tan, on the temples, cheekbones, and a tiny bit on the chin and nose. Bobbi Brown makes great matte bronzers, or try the cream bronzer from RMS Beauty

Step 4 Lashes

Curl lashes. Your eyes will look bigger and awake! Kevyn Aucoin curler is a great option.
Wear mascara. It brings emphasis and attention to the eyes helping them pop. Try COVERGIRL LashBlast

Step 5 Lips

Even just a little tinted chap stick or something with a sheen goes a long way in pulling the entire look together. Generation G by Glossier is the perfect amount of color. Try the color Like for just enhancing your natural lip color.

Extra time in the morning?

Try eyeliner on the top lash line! Just a little bit goes a long way to emphasize your eyes even more. Try colors that will compliment your eye color. Deep plum is always a good choice, especially with green or brown eyes. I love this liner by MAC in Strong Willed.
